How to Grap the bill?
Last night, my family & I went for dinner with my popo, aunt, & uncle's family. BTW, I'm in KK already.
My parents planned to pay for dinner but the waitress brought the bill to the wrong person, which is to my uncle. Of course my uncle wanted to pay the bill too. But in the end, it's my dad who paid the bill. Why? This is how it goes....
Uncle : ( taking wallet out from pocket)
Mum : Wait wait wait!! We pay we pay. Let Chris pay.
Dad : (Calling the waitress) Come come.
Uncle : No no. I pay I pay.
Mum : Wait wait. Check & see whether the bill correct or not.
Uncle : Hmm..got 5 dishes. Correct la.
Mum : No no. Wait 1st. 5 dishes?? I think wrong already (Ya la tu!! =p) . Come come. Bring the bill here.
Uncle : (Handed the bill over)
Mum : Nah, Chris pay the bill.
Dad : (Handed credit card to the waitress)
The Waitress walked off.
Aunt : So, how much is the dinner?
Mum : I also donno.
Sis : Huh? Donno? I thought you say you want to check the bill just now?
Mum : Haha..(main purpose was to grap the bill la) I forgot to see the price.
Swt!! Haha...Funny way to grap the bill!! =p
Funny why some people just like paying the bill. It's manners!! Haha..=)
